Facilities
Every possible care is taken to ensure that our teaching staff is of the highest possible quality. The role of teachers extends well beyond classroom instruction. Children need to be cared for at all times and need to know that someone has an overarching awareness of their lives at school.
Teachers are accessible to parents and students alike for one-to-one consultations, are helpful in addressing individual educational needs and eager to help. The comparatively small size of each class enables our teachers to give attention to each student both inside and outside the classroom.
Laboratories
The laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology and the specialist teaching rooms for Art, Music, Social Science, Languages, Computer Studies, and Mathematics are equipped in accordance with the specifications of national examination boards.
Sports And Other Activities
Sports and games take their rightful place in the lives of students at Vedaant multipurpose School, magod, Valsad The benefits of physical activity for the young are manifold. Sports give an opportunity to develop their physical skills and to remain healthy and active, while experiencing the pleasure of achievement.
The discipline and practice required to excel help them gain confidence in all that they do, in their own selves and in their teams.
This also teaches them the qualities of self-control and leadership and develops the characteristics of a true team player and sportsperson, attributes that will be of value later in life.

The school also conducts an annual sports meet separately for each of the sections – the Primary School and Pre-primary School.

ACTIVITIES
At the school, all students participate in co-curricular activities. The school seeks to facilitate students who show promise of strong aptitude and interest in any sporting or non-sporting activity to further focus and build on such competencies. Students would get extended opportunities to develop their creative talents and thus equip themselves better for performances as well as participation in competitions.,Non-sporting activities are planned for Indian and Western music (both vocal and instrumental), dance, drama and art.
Students are selected to participate in the core activity groups based on aptitude, effort and commitment. Participation in core activity groups is voluntary but students are expected to commit to regular attendance. Participation in core activity groups would entail students spending extra hours of practice beyond regular school hours.
Visits And Outgoings
Students of all ages should enjoy and benefit from outings, visits and field trips – the many and varied ways in which their education can be enhanced by seeing something new, by going somewhere different. Students are encouraged to widen their horizons through a variety of activities and outings and these are different in purpose and in length
Older students seek information for their history, geography or science projects, or perhaps travel on a sporting or cultural visit or exchange. For the younger students, visits to local institutions and places of interest will provide similar opportunities on a smaller scale. Whatever the age of the student or the scope of the project, the opportunity to look beyond the immediate will enhance the student’s perception.
Educational tours typically take place at least once in an academic year. Detailed preparations are made for them and the choice of venue is made keeping in mind the learning objectives of the topic of study.

Fairs &Exihibitions
Science Fairs at the secondary school level are held annually.
These fairs encourage students to delve deeply into the concepts that arouse their curiosity. They provide participants an opportunity to investigate their favourite areas and share them with the school community. They can use topics like the Energy, Agriculture, Information Technology, and more. Every Fair is a learning experience for both the students and the teachers involved.
Science Fairs give students an opportunity to individually investigate a scientific problem. Students complete individual or team projects in which they are required to formulate a question, research a topic, design an experiment, collect and analyze data, and form a conclusion based on their data. These projects help students learn the scientific method by actually going through the same process that scientists use. Students also learn how to sequence data into an attractive display and how to make a clear and effective oral presentation of their work. They are judged on creative ability, scientific thought, thoroughness and clarity.
Creativity
A substantial number of hours in the timetable, and ample opportunity after school, are dedicated to encouraging children to explore the world of creative arts. Time spent on music, drama, dance and painting is time well spent. The pleasures in doing and the satisfaction of achievement not only tap a student’s creativity and originality, but also encourage concentration, patience, commitment and teamwork.

The non-sporting activities offered by the school include craft making, coloring, computer programming and graphics software’s, Indian dance, Western music (vocal and instrumental), Indian music (vocal and tabla), environmental education, yoga, dancing, cookery, needlework and knitting, debating, quizzing and basic life skills.
