The event was organized by Vedanta School to create awareness about menstrual health and the use, recycling and safety of menstrual cups. The event was held at Vedanta School, where gynecological doctors and esteemed members of Lions Club attended and supported the event.

Eco-Friendly Menstrual Cups for Girls’ Health and Sustainability

Many of the students who attended this class learned a great deal about menstruation cups. They received education that menstrual cups are a useful modern endeavor for protecting their periods. This campaign emphasized the use of menstruation cups. While information was provided on how infections and other issues can happen as a result of the usage of pads, additional details regarding menstrual cups was provided, including the fact that they are reusable as well. Menstrual cups reduce significantly the risk of infection. They are simple to use and add important advantages to Girls’ lives. They will not be able to take time absence from school for menstruation. Menstrual cups will improve their confidence, helping them to continue forward with their potential career. This menstrual cup initiative has greatly reduced the stigma associated with menstruation.

Expert Guidance from Dr. Rajshree Tandel (DEO, Valsad) and Dr. Mitali Thakor Gynecologist

At the event, respected gynecologist Dr. Mitali Thakor talked to the students about menstruation cups and corrected various fallacies. She stated that menstruation cups have several advantages, including comfort and relief, and that if used rightly and carefully, they can help avoid infections. Dr. Mitali Thakor’s speech helped reduce her fears and given her the confidence to approach menstruation health from another point of view. Ms. Rajshree Tandel went on to say that her work encouraging girls to use menstrual cups during their cycles helped her see it as a socially and economically beneficial choice as well. In addition to thanking V Vedaant Multipurpose School for giving such an excellent environment for the students ‘ understanding, all of the guests there ensured that this menstruation event was not only informational, but also a step forward in empowering for all of the students present.

Education and Community: A Partnership for Change

To improve the health of students, our school is trying to spread more information about menstrual cups. In which the Lions Club has supported us. Students were given detailed instructions on how to use environmentally friendly menstrual cups, and through this program we have had open and honest discussions on this topic. We hope that the result of this program organized by our school will help in developing a new mindset for tomorrow.

Conclusion

Friends, the purpose of this program was not only to create awareness about menstruation; we also provided students with information on how to choose an eco-friendly menstrual cup and how to increase their confidence. We provided all the information they needed to use this cup during menstruation. Moreover, it was learned how small steps can have a big impact over time.
